Important Announcement

The SPARC membership voted to suspend meetings and the executive board structure for the foreseeable future.  All Club activities will continue to take place.  These include walk-a-thons, cookouts, nets, Field Day, breakfasts, the Durham Fair fundraising event and the Christmas Party.  The existing Club dues structure will remain in place.  There has been a "members only" section created on this website.  By entering their call sign and email password, members will have access to exclusive information such as financial reports, repeater codes, the SPARC Forum and special announcements for members only.  Additional information is expected to be added in the future.  Your email password was given to you in your initial email from SPARC when joining.  If you would like your password reset, please email sparc at sparc.us.  You may also change your password on the members page.  Remember, if you use SPARC email, this will change your password for that as well.  The chat room password is completely separate.

This decision to change the Club structure was not made lightly, however it was realized that at this point in the Club's existence, that most everything we do can be handled through the website, nets or email.  With most people's schedule's being so full these days, it was apparent that this would allow us to focus more on what the Club is all about.  SPARC has several social functions where members can still get together and many ideas can be shared at these events as well.  Any emergency event functions will be posted and discussed on the nets or Club Forum.

The by-laws will be updated shortly to reflect these new changes.
