Fellow SPARC Members,

Please be advised that as of April 1st, 2019, I will no longer be hosting email on the SPARC servers.  This is primarily due to lack of interest from the Club members but other factors include the financial cost to run the servers, as well as the time spent to do so.

Between now and then, any email, contacts, calendar and tasks that you wish to save may be accessed as normal and stored an any manner you would like.

If anyone would like their email that is sent to their @sparc.us address to be automatically forwarded to another address, please let me know and I can have this done.

My email and the Club’s email address will remain the same.  Other email groups like nets@sparc.us and walks@sparc.us will continue to work.

At some point in the near future, I will be moving the sparc.us website to a hosted solution and redesigning the site.  The will be a simplified version but still continue to deliver the information that the Club needs and the address will remain http://sparc.us.

The chatroom, secure member section and FTP will go offline.  These may be reinvoked in some form in the future depending on the direction of the Club.

Please download any content that you wish to keep from the FTP server prior to April 1st.

Thank you and it has been a pleasure to host your email for the last 17 years.

Sincerely,

Brian J. Freeman
